BRYAN CANTER
Growing up in the non-traditional hockey area of central Maryland, Bryan Canter found himself in love with the sport of hockey and the goaltender position itself. His love and passion would only take him so far. He realized once he left home that pursuing his passion meant so much more then showing up at the rink and strapping on the pads. Bryan quickly learned to value the process and work it takes to get to a high level.

Coach Canter is driven to take what he has learned and use his experience to positively impact the development of the local goalies in his home area. Through Defending the Crease, local goalies now have access to what Bryan so needed when he was a young goaltender.

JAKE SNYDER
Jake Snyder is passionate about developing the skills of goaltenders, while also teaching valuable life skills that extend beyond the ice surface. He is committed to applying his knowledge and experience throughout his hockey career to support goalies by helping them reach their goals. Jake understands what characteristics are crucial to climbing up the hockey ladder and takes a personable approach to uniquely understand each goaltender. This allows Jake to create a plan that works best with each individual goalie so they can achieve success.
